As Armenia approaches parliamentary elections on 7 June 2026, the country stands at a defining crossroads in the aftermath of mass displacement from Nagorno-Karabakh, deep political polarisation, and ongoing peace negotiations.
Many groups remain excluded from meaningful participation–including women’s rights actors, LGBTQI communities, displaced persons, and young people. Their realities and priorities must be central to any credible democratic process.
