The EU Gender Action Plan II (Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment: Transforming the Lives of Girls and Women Through EU External Relations 2016–2020) is coming to and end this year. To assess progress in its implementation in the MENA region, The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation commissioned an independent evaluation of the GAP II in Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq. The evaluation aims to provide an assessment of the implementation of specific objectives in the three countries, identify best practices and challenges and contribute to the current development of the GAP III.
