Our approach to Digital learning

Kvinna till Kvinna and digital learning

Women human rights defenders around the world are increasingly mobilising online. While this is a fantastic way to network and amplify women’s voices, it leaves activists vulnerable to digital violence. Clearly, there is a need for safe online spaces to meet, share experiences, reflect – and learn.

Kvinna till Kvinna is strengthening its efforts in the sphere of digital learning. We have our very own e-learning platform, and our first online course (on the Do No Harm Framework of conflict sensitivity) is up and running.

Although not everything we do can be digitalised (not least for security reasons), we are excited to offer digital learning as a complement to our existing work!

Digital learning has many benefits:

  • Online trainings mean less travel, which reduces our carbon footprint
  • Digital meeting spaces are more inclusive and stimulate networking
  • E-courses allow participants to study and learn at their own pace
