Prevention and response to sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment

Good practice handbook for the private sector in Rwanda

This handbook is a Rwanda specific adaptation of the Good Practice Handbook on the Prevention of and Response to Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (SEAH), developed by Kvinna till Kvinna in partnership with Swedfund.

Created collaboratively under the Advancing Women’s Inclusion in Business project, the handbook draws on international standards, national policies and field experience.

It offers practical guidance for private sector actors to foster safe and inclusive workplaces and communities. It outlines concrete ways to integrate SEAH prevention and response into context analysis, risk assessment and day to day business operations. It also highlights the role of partnerships with external stakeholders, particularly women’s rights organisations, in driving sustainable change.
