“Building resilience” is a shorter pre- report to “Suffocating the movement – Shrinking space for women’s rights” the Femdefenders report that was launched the year after. The report introduces the concept of shrinking civic space and the gendered aspects of the process.
By using statistics from the 2014 Femdefenders study the report discusses the common strategies used in shrinking the civic space for women human rights defenders such as threats, harassment, and violence. The report ends by highlighting The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation’s actions to strengthen women human right defenders and their work.
